Testing computers in a computer collection. Here's what usually happens...

Introduction

Computers in storage can fall prey to a condition called "bit-rot" where components deteriorate to the extent that the machine has issues when eventually turned on. This being the case, every so often I drag out various models in my computer collection to check they are still in good health. This self-satirizing flowchart reflects typical scenarios. If you are a collector you can probably relate to these. Hopefully it will raise a smile. (-:
