The drive I have has a broken hinge. It appears the plastic becomes extremely brittle with age.

Just to be clear here, it's the plastic faceplate your need, not the whole drive itself? How fussy are you about authenticity. A few people could have munted full height drives in their collection, which they would consider pulling the faceplate off if asked nicely or encouraged with some beer money.

I do have one spare full height drive that's not working properly but I do intend to fix it at some stage.

The piece on the left is the one, it screws onto the bit that presses against the disk.
It hooks onto two white pegs on the face plate, unfortunately one peg has dropped off on mine.
I think the loss of one of the white pegs made the drive closing mechanism go on an angle and twist off the plastic hole it sits in.
I'd prefer authentic if possible, I'm wondering if the drives are possibly generic over a range of computers?
