Fixing a TRS-80 video monitor

Postby tezza on Mon Mar 30, 2020 7:48 pm

Given all electronic shops are COVID-19 closed, it's a relief to find one suitable cap (but only one!) in the parts bin!
Anyway, the usual write up for anyone interested.

Nice repair as usual :D
I bought a cheaper chinese ESR meter in February. Still waiting for it: it seems that the french post service, La Poste, has lost its trace.
I want to test lots of capacitors of an Amstrad CPC 464 tape deck. I don't want to desolder them for testing. I thought it was a good occasion to get an ESR meter and test it.
