E-Waste Survey

Postby tezza on Thu Aug 16, 2012 3:05 pm

Hi,

Members of this forum might like to have their say on e-waste. A researcher at Massey is investigating this topic. He asked me if I could paste the note below on the forums. You might even win something for participating!

A PhD researcher at Massey University is exploring the issues and opportunities around electronic waste (otherwise known as e-Waste). e-Waste is the fastest growing waste type and is a significant global issue. If you would like to add your views to this survey research then please click on the following link to participate https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2QCKXR5 To encourage participation all completed the surveys are eligible for a prize draw for a VEON 19" LED TV/DVD combo, valued at $299. Please consider on-sending the link through you network of family, friends, colleagues - so they can have their say as well.

As most e-waste nowadays in post-1995, I consider "non-vintage" computing as perhaps being the most suitable forum for this message.

Hi Tezza, I was wondering if I could get an email address for the person who is conducting this research? As someone involved in processing e-waste I'm interested in any conclusions they have.

Sure, I'll have to dig it out though and it might take a day or two (just juggling a few things right now). I'll send you a PM in a couple of days.
