You have entered a thread.

All about you are words and sentences of poor grammatical construction. But if you thought there was nothing to be seen here, you would probably be right. Graphics had not yet been added to this type of game.

The obvious exit are the Back Button to go back to where you came from but looking down there is also another exit down a rabbit hole.

LOL.

I liked the title "The Guide to Classic Graphic Adventures - Hardcore Gaming 101".

I managed to also turn up a copy of the adventure writing book The Captain 80 Book of Basic Adventures by Robert (Bob) Liddil. I got it separate from this current ZX auction ( http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =613083318 ) and I am looking forward to it arriving. It seems to be quite a seminal read from the period.

After doing a return google] ( <--- newly coined phrase...waiting for credit to roll in) and ending back up here I see you have also given it good mention in your favourite System 80 Books - http://www.classic-computers.org.nz/sys ... _books.htm

Yes, I have got that Bob Liddil book also. The artwork alone is interesting.

A while back someone saw it on the system 80 website and wrote to me asking if I would scan it. The Internet being the small place it is I found Bob and asked him directly his thoughts on scanning the book. He didn't want it scanned, so that was that. If anyone finds an electronic copy it won't be from me.

Actually, nearly all the adventures can be found in one electronic form or another (on disk images etc.)
