Late 90's Educational/School Amiga Games

Postby 4wheels on Tue May 21, 2019 12:14 am

Hey there,

I am hoping to track down some games I played at school here in New Zealand during 99/2000.

A couple of them, I think they were called "Maths Mania" and "Adding Numbers"

I may have the Adding Numbers game name wrong but I can remember parts of the game were your character went up and down silver ladders like a 2D platformer. If I saw some screenshots id recognize it instantly.

Very grateful for any info on tracking these down.

Cheers

Good lord where were you going to school where they still had Amigas at the turn of the millennium?
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
eisa on Trademe. A lasting reminder of a Compaq fetish when I was younger.

Not willing to reveal where exactly, but we were only 5/6 so not like we needed anything fancy. They were purely for the educational games since we used books/pencils for regular work unlike today's school kids.

Before today I hadn't heard of amigas in schools anywhere. I always wanted one when I was at high school in the mid-90's but some idiot told my mother they were "just games machines". In fact I have since discovered they were ahead of their time in many ways when they came out. Finally got one for $20 20 years later but it's gone a bit funny now:-( Haven't heard of those games sorry.
