Video Up scaler

Postby Nighthawk on Sat May 25, 2019 11:08 am

So as my old eyes get older, I am want to use a modern screen with my C64/128d, and wanting a video upscaler... the old CRT (14" is just not doing it for me as I am so use to my 21" dual screens :?

I don't want to be spending large amounts on one as I know can get a semi-decent one from Rubber Monkey But l also want it able to keep up with the refresh rates of game play etc... (although I do play on the C64 mini most times) lol

Just wondering what everyone else uses...

I've got an OSSC and love it - sadly the 64 is one of the few it can't talk to. Works bloody brilliant on Amigas, the Megadrive, old Playstation etc.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
eisa on Trademe. A lasting reminder of a Compaq fetish when I was younger.

Also on a limited budget, I bought this kogan for my PS2 and Xbox. It basically works but the output isn't as sharp as I'd hoped, though I've nothing else to compare it to. Might look at also getting an OSSC to see if it's any better. I didn't know about them at the time.
