Shipping advice

Postby matsondawson on Tue Jul 19, 2011 7:18 pm

I need to get an A3020 and 14" screen packed and shipped from St Heliers, Auckland to Wellington.
I phoned pack and send and they wanted $220 to do it, has anyone any better ideas?

Egads! Do you know anyone whose driving down who will allow it to tag along for a bit of petrol money?

Pack and Send is the problem. They're really expensive, but then they provide a specialty service of parceling things up with consideration to properly protecting the items for you. Will the seller not box things for you? $22 for the monitor and about the same for the computer standard nz post.

I had a similar experience with someone who was going to send via shipmytrade. $80something vs $20something it eventually cost when they sent standard postage.
