Clinic Records Upgrade

Hi guys! Anyone who have heard about converting the paper charting to electronic health records? My friend's clinic has been keeping records the old way, you know, papers filed, sometimes it's hard to track records of her patients. I heard there is now a good software for keeping files. Help! :)

A year late but the defacto standard among clinics I do work at is MedTech32. http://www.medtechglobal.com :)
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
